Frequently Asked Questions
General
What do you sell?
We offer professionally 3D printed physical products and a Print-as-a-Service where customers can upload their own files to be printed. We do not currently sell digital files.
Where are you based?
All prints are produced and dispatched from the UK.
Are your products made to order?
Yes. Most items are printed to order to ensure quality and consistency.
What materials do you use?
We currently print using PLA (Polylactic Acid) only.
Print as a Service
What files can I upload?
We accept STL and 3MF files. Files must be suitable for FDM 3D printing.
How does Print-as-a-Service work?
You upload your file, select your preferences, and submit your request. We review the file and send you a final quote for approval before printing begins.
Can you fix or modify my file?
Minor adjustments may be possible. If changes are required, we will contact you before proceeding. More complex design work may incur additional charges.
What print quality should I choose?
- Draft for fast test prints
- Standard for most projects
- Fine for smoother surface finishes
If you’re unsure, we recommend Standard.
Can I order multiple copies?
Yes. Please let us know the quantity when submitting your file so we can provide accurate pricing.
Can I re-order the same print later?
Yes, provided the file remains unchanged. Let us know if you would like us to retain your file for future orders.
Licensing & Legal
Can you print copyrighted or trademarked designs?
No. We reserve the right to refuse any request involving copyrighted or trademarked designs where you do not hold the necessary rights.
Do you check licences?
No. It is your responsibility to ensure you have the right to have a model printed.
Will you keep or share my files?
No. Uploaded files are used only to fulfil your order and are not shared or resold.
Orders & Pricing
How is pricing calculated?
Pricing is based on material usage, print time, and complexity. A final quote is always provided before printing.
Why isn’t there a price shown?
Print-as-a-Service is a custom service. Each file is different, so pricing is provided after review.
How long does printing take?
Most orders are completed within 2–5 working days after approval, depending on complexity and queue length.
Shipping & Returns
Do you offer returns?
Due to the custom nature of 3D printing, custom prints are non-refundable once approved and printing has begun.
What if there is an issue with my order?
If there is a problem with your order, please contact us as soon as possible and we will work with you to resolve it.
Do you ship internationally?
No. Currently, we're only shipping across the UK.
Quality & Expectations
Will my print look exactly like the render?
3D prints may show visible layer lines and slight surface variations. This is a normal characteristic of FDM printing.
How accurate are 3D prints?
Typical tolerances are approximately ±0.2 mm, depending on geometry and orientation.
Is PLA suitable for outdoor or high-heat use?
PLA is not suitable for prolonged exposure to high temperatures or outdoor environments.
